General

What time should I arrive?

Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony begins so you can get settled and seated.

Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?

The ceremony will be taking place at the William Aiken House on King's Street and the reception will be at the American Theater, right next door!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be indoors. Dinner will also be taking place indoors at the William Aiken House.

Is there parking at the venue?

There is a parking garage across the street from the venue where you can park.

Who can I contact if I have questions about the day?

Feel free to get in touch with Luca or Sami personally with any questions. Please try and ask questions as much in advance as possible.

What should I do if I can’t attend after RSVP’ing yes?

If your plans change, please let us know as soon as possible so we can adjust accordingly.

Attire

What is the dress code?

The dress code is Winter Formal.

Anything specifically I can't wear?

We’d love to keep white reserved for the bride. Any other colors are perfect.

Should I bring a jacket or coat?

Yes, we recommend it. South Carolina winters are generally mild, but evenings can get chilly—especially outdoors. A light to medium jacket or a wrap will keep you comfortable once the sun goes down.

Travel & Lodging

What airport is closest to the venue?

The closest airport to our wedding venue is Charleston International Airport (CHS), located about 25 minutes away. We recommend booking flights early, as this is a busy travel season.

Are there hotel blocks or recommendations nearby?

Yes, there are! Please visit our Travel page to check out our hotel blocks we recommend. There are also plenty of Airbnb options in the area.

Is there transportation provided between the hotel and the venue?

No, there is no transportation provided. Each guest will have to make their own way to the venue from their place of accomodation.

Food & Drinks

Will dinner be served?

Yes, dinner will be served and each guest will be allowed to select what they'd like to eat from a couple options in advance.

Are there vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free options?

The menu will be set with a couple options only but please let us know if you dietary restrictions when you RSVP, and try our best to accommodate you.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes, there will be an open bar on-site for Non-Alcoholic Beverages, Wine & Beer.
